What bothers me about this artistic integrity business is that it implies what they are doing is art in the conventional sense. If it was art, and since I bought it, that would imply it is a commission of some sort. But if it was a commission, I and the rest of the fan base would have been able to tell them how we want things to go. It seems to me that Bioware is forgetting they are first and foremost business-people making their consumers a product. If Apple, Sony, etc. made a product and it was met with negative outcry by an outspoken number of their consumers, they would at least patch it to make it better, not whine that it's "their right" to make it however they want. I suppose what I am getting at is, they are mass producing a product for a large consumer base, whether they want to accept it or not they are business people and need to start acting like professionals.

Sounds about right. Stick to your bullcrap endings if you want, BW, just don't complain when your loss of sales bites you in the ass.

I think I should just stop playing Mass Effect 3 now, since I finished both Asari world missions: one that had Samara in it and Thessia.

I saved right after talking to Liara and just stopped. I am romancing her and I think I will be hurt by the ending if I continue.

BW/EA's Endings were total cop-outs, no matter how you dress it. Ironically, the fanbase came up with a much better explanation for everything that happened after the "white flash" during the final charge to the Citadel, in keeping with the actual lore. It is called the Indoctrination Theory.

Whether one agrees with it or not. It represents a point: You do not have to let BW/EA dictate to you how you should feel about a series by failing to meet the standard. After signing on with a few petitions to BW/EA to "do the right thing", I took the Council option:

"Ah yes, Catalyst Endings... We've already dismissed that claim."

oh, you will be, like almost anybody else, but you can go on until you won't find yourself with just a small gun in your hand, then STOP for your sake, or you'll see something much worse than your worst fears :(

Im so worn out from hearing "artistic Integrity". It has lost all meaning to me. I really hope they can pull it together and actually fix the problem (not with the current DLC that's coming out) before its to late :(

I'm sorry that it hit you so hard :(
The ending was... crushing, it destroyed everything we loved about ME...
I just can't forget Garrus's words. Come back alive
I'll do it Garrus, I promise, I will

We have to fight to save Mass Effect until we can, until it's not too late. I'm trying to make BW undestand that they're doing the wrong thing (again) keeping that awful ending and just filling some plotholes. Hold the line! ;)

Yeah
And they better understand their mistakes. After DA2 fiasko they're risking their reputation and fan support
I hope they'll get better
But yrah, don't give up. We still have hope
